Yakutia's Construction Watchdog Imposes 19M Ruble Fines in 2023
The State Construction and Housing Supervision Department of Yakutia, under the leadership of Aysen Nikolaev, the Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), has been active in 2023. They conducted a total of 3249 inspections, resulting in administrative fines amounting to 19 million rubles.
The department focused on licensing and housing oversight, conducting 1984 inspections. This led to 526 protocols and 913 notices being issued, with sanctions totaling 10.9 million rubles. Additionally, 140 apartment inspections were carried out, with 26 conclusions highlighting harmful factors affecting citizens' safety and health.
The department also inspected capital construction objects, conducting 1265 inspections and issuing 411 protocols for administrative offenses. This resulted in 8 million rubles in fines. Furthermore, the department reviewed licenses of managing organizations. While 69 licenses were extended, 11 were refused due to violations like lack of information disclosure and debt to resource-supplying organizations. This affected 529 multi-apartments for rent.
