WPPI 2025 Brings Adorama, Fresh Location, Exciting Events, and Notable Hardware
At this year's WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) conference and trade show, Adorama is making a significant impact, not just as a retailer, but also as an active participant in shaping the industry and supporting photographers, videographers, and other creators.
The action-packed show-floor booth of Adorama is a must-visit destination for attendees. Highlights include:
- Live demos by established photographers, such as Anya Anti, Susan Stripling, Johnny Edwards, and Seth Miranda, focusing on technical and creative photography skills. These demos cover topics like self-portraits, wedding detail photography, layered lighting for portraits, and cinematic lighting techniques. Seth Miranda's platform class on Tuesday (4:30–6:00 p.m.) is also featured.
- Personal shoppers to facilitate exclusive deals at the booth, a popular service that Adorama introduced at Imaging USA earlier in 2025.
- A prize wheel with tech and photography gear giveaways for qualifying purchases. Attendees making purchases of $250 or more can spin Adorama's Prize Wheel for chances to win prizes such as a Wacom Tablet, GoPro cameras, Rosco Gel Kits, Pelican cases, and more.
- Daily raffles offering chances to win higher-value items at the end of each show day.
Susan Stripling, a Canon Explorer of Light and WPPI Grand Master, will be teaching on wedding photography lighting and composition. She is also an educator and founder of The Wedding School. Social media from WPPI confirms live demos featuring creative self-portrait and lighting techniques happening at the Adorama booth.
Adorama's private label, Flashpoint, will have its gear and modifiers on-site, making it a must-visit destination for attendees. A new addition to WPPI 2025 is WPPI's Got Talent, an open-mic-style event where aspiring speakers pitch their class ideas in front of a live audience.
WPPI 2025 also features 50 Photo Walks, 40 Seminars, a St. Patrick's Day-themed Opening Party, the Icon Awards Presentation, and a Wrap Party. This year, WPPI introduces four two-day Summits—Wedding, Lighting, Portrait, and Boudoir—plus a new, one-day Latin Summit. WPPI has grown significantly over the years, attracting up to 14,000 attendees and featuring multiple venues.
Adorama's sister brand, Printique, will have a space within the Adorama booth, offering samples of high-quality printing services and a new stamp machine for embossing photo albums.
In addition to the WPPI activities, Adorama has planned another Sony rooftop event and Wedding Workshop in the near future. The Adorama events page can be checked to sign up for available workshops and events as they get added by month.
Adorama will co-sponsor a Women on Set event with Lindsay Adler in honor of National Women's Month. Peter Hurley, a renowned head shot photographer, will host an in-store demo at Adorama's 42 West 18Street Event Space, which will be live-streamed for those who can't make it in person.
WPPI is taking place from March 16-20 at the fully renovated Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Adorama offers educational programming year-round, including Portfolio Reviews, a comprehensive Learning Center Blog, AdoramaTV, a podcast called Coffee with Creators, and mentorship from Seth Miranda and Ab Sesay.
Attendees at the Adorama booth can enter a daily raffle for a chance to win a larger prize item at the end of each show floor day. There will be a top-tier promotion of LUMIX cameras and lenses at the Adorama booth, featuring discounts on the LUMIX S1RII, the LUMIX S5II, and the LUMIX S5IIX.
With its comprehensive lineup of educational opportunities, personal shopping assistance, and prize incentives, Adorama is undeniably a strong presence at WPPI 2025.
