The association also reports that prices in September and October are 25% cheaper than in August, making it an attractive time for tourists to visit.
For families like the ones heading home to Gondomar and Santa Maria da Feira, packing bags for travel is likened to an intensive course in storage or an automated version of the classic game Tetris. The majority of foreign tourists visiting Portugal in September and October are Germans, who prefer the Algarve region, followed by Lisbon and Madeira. The current temperature in Portugal is around 21 degrees, but the tourists are expected to enjoy temperatures nearly 26 degrees, according to previous experiences.
