Viersen Police Hunt Cyclist After Hit-and-Run Involving Teen
Viersen Police are appealing for information following a hit-and-run incident involving an 18-year-old and an unknown cyclist on Monday, September 29. The collision occurred around 3:23 PM on Viehmarkt street. The cyclist, described as slim with a beard and long dark hair, fled the scene without assisting or exchanging details.
The cyclist, approximately 165 to 170 cm tall and between 30 and 35 years old, was dressed in a black jacket with red accents and jeans. They were riding a mountain bike. After the collision, the cyclist rode towards Sprühwall instead of stopping. Police are urging anyone with information to contact the traffic commission 2 at 02162/377-0.
