UNRWA Urges Long-Term Solution as Gaza's Humanitarian Crisis Deepens
Over two million people in Gaza grapple with dire humanitarian needs, exacerbated by the Israeli blockade. UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini has welcomed efforts towards a permanent ceasefire and called for a long-term solution to the conflict.

The European Parliament's Green faction has urged the immediate lifting of the Israeli blockade and supports humanitarian aid deliveries. UNRWA has requested access for international staff to provide aid and also called for the removal of the Israeli blockade to alleviate the severe humanitarian conditions.
