Motorcyclist Without License Involved in Accident, Seriously Injured - Unlicensed Scooter Rider Severely Injured in Mönchengladbach Collision
A 21-year-old man was severely injured in a scooter-car collision in Mönchengladbach's Giesenkirchen district on Thursday evening. The unlicensed and uninsured scooter rider was taken to the hospital with serious leg injuries.
The incident occurred when a car driver pulled out of their driveway onto the street Bahner, failing to notice the approaching scooter. The rider, travelling from the left, was unable to avoid the collision. The man, who was not authorised to drive the scooter and lacked insurance, suffered severe leg injuries and was promptly taken to the hospital for treatment.
The police are investigating the accident. The car driver involved has been cooperative, and no arrests have been made. The injured rider's condition is stable, and further updates on his recovery are awaited.
