Unfiltered Updates: An Unabashed Look at Everything Happening worldwide

=====================================================================

In the final week of classes at Holy Cross, students are juggling academic responsibilities and campus life. One of the latest initiatives aimed at improving campus life is the #HCRealTalk Survey, a feedback initiative designed to gather honest opinions and experiences from members of the Holy Cross community.

For those who complete the survey, there are enticing rewards on offer. Participants are typically entered into a drawing for various prizes, which often include gift cards, Holy Cross merchandise, or other incentives to encourage participation and ensure a broad range of responses.

Recently, Holy Cross's Residence Hall Association hosted Battle of the Roommates on April 25, where prizes worth up to $700 were up for grabs. For those seeking a sweeter reward, an ice cream truck was available for students who filled out the #HCRealTalk Survey. The giveaways for the event included a Worcester-themed gift bag, Amazon gift card, bookstore gift card, Target gift card, Grubhub gift card, $100 in dining dollars, and a free ticket to the Spring Concert.

However, not everything on campus is running smoothly. Caitlin Wiffler, a writer for both The Spire at Holy Cross and The Eggplant, recently wrote about the difficulties of obtaining a temporary parking pass on campus. It seems that gaining a temporary parking pass is not easy, a problem that has left many students, including Caitlin herself, with thousands of dollars of debt from parking fines.

In other news, it appears that Kimball, the campus dining hall, does not serve food between 2:00 and 4:30 p.m. on Sundays, leaving some students disappointed when they went for lunch at 2:30.

On a lighter note, Caitlin Wiffler recently went to Boston with friends and purchased three tops from Brandy Melville.

Stay tuned for more updates on campus life, as well as insights from Caitlin Wiffler and other students, in future issues of The Eggplant. Don't forget to check official Holy Cross communications, such as emails, the Holy Cross website, or student bulletin announcements, for the most up-to-date and specific details about the survey and the prizes offered.

The SGA Cabinet Meeting is at 8:00 P.M. in Hogan Suite B/C this week, for those interested in getting involved in campus governance. Have a great week, Holy Cross!
