Türkiye's Nighttime Museum Visits Extended Due to Huge Popularity
Türkiye's nighttime museum visits have proven hugely popular, attracting over half a million visitors to Ephesus, Side, and Galata Tower in just four months, from June to September 2025. Due to this overwhelming response, the programme has been extended for another month, now set to conclude on November 2, 2025.
Initially, the nighttime visits were planned to end on October 1, but the high demand led authorities to extend the programme. Side Ancient City, in particular, has garnered significant attention from visitors during these nighttime visits.
In total, around 2.5 million visitors have experienced the night visits to museums across Türkiye during this period. The top three most popular sites for these late-night explorations were Ephesus Ancient City, Galata Tower, and Pamukkale Hierapolis.
The extension of the nighttime visits programme until November 2, 2025, offers more opportunities for visitors to explore these historical sites under the moonlight. The popularity of these visits indicates a strong interest in experiencing Türkiye's rich cultural heritage in unique ways.
