Bayern: Mother and Baby Die in Accident on A3 - Tragic A3 Accident Claims Mother and Infant, Injures Family

A tragic car accident near the Parsberg exit on the A3 on Saturday evening claimed the lives of a mother and her infant, while leaving a three-year-old child and the father severely injured. The highway towards Regensburg was temporarily closed following the incident, with another collision occurring at the tail end of the resulting traffic jam.

The accident involved a Ford carrying a family of four. The vehicle veered off the highway, flipped over, and landed on its roof in the median. The 32-year-old mother and her infant in the back seat were sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The 30-year-old father driving the car suffered severe injuries, while miraculously, the three-year-old child in the front seat remained unharmed. An expert has been called in to investigate the cause of the accident. The names of those involved have not been disclosed in the available reports. Another collision occurred at the tail end of the resulting traffic jam, injuring a man who was subsequently taken to a hospital.

The accident near Parsberg resulted in two fatalities and several injuries. The A3 highway towards Regensburg was temporarily closed to allow emergency services to respond and clear the scene. Investigations into the cause of the accident are ongoing.
