Methodology
We crunched the numbers by searching for keyword mentions in each attraction's Tripadvisor review section. Keywords included 'friendly', 'helpful', 'welcoming', 'polite', 'hospitable', 'accommodating', and 'nicest'. We made sure to avoid duplicate keywords within the same review and calculated the percentage of positive keywords in each attraction's total Tripadvisor reviews[1].
Our national rankings were developed by analyzing the top 20 most-reviewed attractions under the 'Things To Do in Canada' page on Tripadvisor. For the provincial and territorial rankings, we focused on the top 3 most reviewed attractions under the 'Things To Do in [Province/Territory]' page. The Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Yukon were not accounted for due to an insufficient amount of data.
This data was collected in June 2025.
