Thai Student Designs World-Class F1 Circuit for Graduation Project

Thawatchai Saelim, a Thammasat University student, has designed the 'Goudaria Circuit Thailand' for his graduation project. Inspired by his passion for Formula 1, the circuit aims to exceed world-class standards and serve as a significant sports tourism destination.

The project faces challenges balancing high technical demands, such as safety standards and track specifications, with commercial functions like spectator facilities and revenue-generating spaces. Saelim aims to integrate these aspects while maintaining landscape appeal.

Public interest in Formula 1 is growing in Thailand, making an F1 event in the country a more realistic prospect. The 'Goudaria Circuit Thailand' is envisioned as a comprehensive 'Full Entertainment City', featuring sports, entertainment, shopping, dining, and hospitality facilities. This could serve as a significant driver for promoting sports tourism and generating income circulation in Thailand.
