Tel Aviv's Winter Luxury: Win a Pop-Up Suite on the Beach
Tel Aviv is set to become a winter haven for Europeans, with Israel's tourism ministry investing $25 million to boost visits to the city and Jerusalem. In a unique initiative, a wooden lifeguard tower has been transformed into a pop-up luxury suite to entice winter tourists.
The suite, designed by architect Daniel Baranowitz of Baranowitz+Krivos, offers a hot tub, room service, and stunning ocean views. It's part of Tel Aviv's strategy to promote itself as a winter destination, capitalising on its warm weather, vibrant beach, and renowned restaurants and nightlife. Only 15 lucky couples, winners of an online competition, will get to experience this luxurious seaside retreat.
Tel Aviv's tourism industry is pulling out all the stops to attract European visitors this winter. With its unique pop-up suite and substantial investment from the tourism ministry, the city is poised to become a must-visit destination even during the colder months.
