Our digital, user-friendly in-app claims process aims to speed things up and get your claim sorted quickly, fair, and accurately. Here's how to roll:

  1. Flip Through Your App: On either iOS or Android, open our nifty app, then click Trips on the bottom menu.
  2. Find Your Trip: In the Trips tab, choose the trip that's given you a headache.
  3. Submit Your Claim: Select your trip, then click File a Claim to kick off the process.
  4. The Lowdown: Tell us what's what: who was involved, what happened, and the date (or an estimate, if needed).
  5. Keep Proof: Add supporting documents if you have them. No worries if you don't – you can add 'em later via the app, or email them in if you prefer.
  6. Total Up: Add the amount you're claiming for, then sign a truth pledge to get the ball rolling.
  7. Keep Tabs: Check the Claims section of the Trips table for your trip to see the status of your claim (open, in progress, resolved, or closed). Need a hand? Chat with us anytime!

Time to Crunch the Numbers: How Long Does It Take?

We strive to process claims within 48 hours once we've got all the info we need. However, it might take a tad longer or shorter, depending on if we have everything we need to get the job done. If so, we'll touch base with you, either by chat or email.

Unlike most travel insurance companies, we process claims in-house to ensure we take care of you from start to finish.

If your claim is approved, we've got multiple ways to send your dough:

If it's not urgent, you'll still need to see a doc for proper evaluation and docs, like a physician's statement, for certain instances like pre-trip cancelation or pre-existing conditions. Don't forget, you can hit us up if you need guidance on finding a hospital, doctor, or clinic.
  3. Keep the Proof: Without documentation, it's hard to get reimbursed, so make sure to save all travel docs, receipts, and important info. This includes expenses, refunds, and anything else we might need.
