Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech Joins IMPAQT to Drive European Quantum Ecosystem
Barcelona-based Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech has joined forces with Delft-based IMPAQT UA, creating a significant partnership in the European quantum landscape. As the sole hybrid full-stack company in the IMPAQT cohort, Qilimanjaro brings its expertise in quantum fiber and integration to the table.
The alliance, named IMPAQT, aims to streamline the journey from lab prototypes to commercial quantum solutions in Europe. Qilimanjaro's integration prowess will align product design with real-world needs, fostering a cohesive, standards-driven quantum ecosystem.
The partnership seeks to unite hybrid hardware, robust integration, and a shared commitment to interoperability. The consortium comprises companies covering the entire quantum stack, from raw qubit fabrication to software frameworks and service delivery. While no other members were mentioned, the Autonomous University of Barcelona is also involved.
Qilimanjaro offers the SpeQtrum QaaS platform, providing remote access to hybrid data centers and on-premise modular systems for high-performance computing centers and research institutions. Its dual-stack approach has already proven successful in the energy and pharmaceutical sectors.
Through the IMPAQT partnership, Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech and IMPAQT UA aim to create a robust, interoperable quantum supply chain across Europe. The Interoperability Lab will benchmark and validate quantum components, ensuring a competitive and collaborative European quantum industry.
