In a week filled with excitement and learning, new trainees and students at the district administration embarked on an unforgettable journey. The introduction week commenced on Monday morning, with a warm welcoming speech by Prof. Dr. Michael Klotz from Hochschule Stralsund.

The first day also marked the start of a scavenger hunt through the district administration, giving the participants a chance to explore the county house. This was followed by an interactive information event about working life, conducted by employees Stephanie Brand and Alina Krusemark, who emphasized the importance of openness, commitment, and curiosity in the workplace.

On Tuesday, the trainees and students received their first insights into the digital working world through practical IT training on Excel and Outlook. The day also included an enlightening excursion to the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg.

Wednesday saw a mix of activities, with some groups swapping their morning scavenger hunt for an afternoon DIY workshop at the county media center. Another group delved into the world of baking, participating in a "Kringeln" cooking course.

Thursday was dedicated to the forest nature conservation project, focusing on environmental and climate protection in the district. The week concluded with a playful "bomb disposal" event held in the garden of the health department on Friday.

The highlight of the week was the "Business-Knigge" event on Friday, which provided valuable tips for a professional appearance in everyday work. Stephanie Brand, the training manager at the administration, emphasized that the introductory week aims to facilitate the start of work and make it enjoyable.

The personnel department, youth and trainee representation, and the climate protection team welcomed the new trainees and students on Monday, setting the tone for a week filled with learning, exploration, and camaraderie. As the week came to a close, the new trainees and students started their journey with a sense of excitement, ready to face the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
