Park University will stage its annual International Festival on November 22nd.

Park University in Parkville, Missouri, is set to host its annual International Festival on Nov. 22, 2024. The event, which will take place from 5 to 9 p.m., is open to the public and admission is free.

The celebration will kick off with an international buffet serving foods from each continent, priced at $16 for the public, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Park students and employees on a meal plan can enjoy the buffet free of charge with their Park ID.

From 5 to 7 p.m., information booths and cultural activities will be available in the Mabee Learning Center/Academic Underground, providing an opportunity for attendees to learn more about various countries and their unique cultures.

At 7:30 p.m., the event will move to the Graham Tyler Memorial Chapel for a captivating fashion show and cultural performances. Three Trails Taiko, a renowned Kansas City area organisation, will perform, adding a rhythmic and vibrant element to the evening.

The festival will feature countries from the Bahamas, Bangladesh, Gambia, Ghana, Nigeria, Thailand, Uzbekistan, and Zimbabwe, each represented by international students from Park University. These students will share diverse characteristics of their homeland, offering a rich and immersive experience for all attendees.

Students from the University's International Center for Music will also perform, adding a musical flair to the event.

The International Festival at Park University will offer an immersive experience, showcasing lifestyle, food-and-drink, home-and-garden, and travel insights from various countries, including the Bahamas, Bangladesh, Gambia, Ghana, Nigeria, Thailand, Uzbekistan, and Zimbabwe. Attendees can look forward to cultural activities, information booths, and a captivating fashion show, accompanied by performances from Three Trails Taiko and students from the University's International Center for Music.
