Gelendzhik Airport, which reopened to civilian flights on July 10, 2025, after a three-year hiatus, has seen new flights scheduled or resumed from several Russian cities. However, as of the current announcements, there are no confirmed direct flights between Gelendzhik Airport and Norilsk, Kazan, or Yekaterinburg.

The expansion of flights seems to be focused on routes from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Surgut, and Tyumen. Aeroflot, S7, and Ural Airlines have resumed or plan daytime flights from Moscow to Gelendzhik, while Smartavia operates new flights from St. Petersburg. Additionally, flights from Surgut and Tyumen have been introduced to increase the tourist influx to the region.

For those interested in flights from Norilsk, Kazan, or Yekaterinburg, it would be advisable to check directly with airlines operating in those regions or refer to updated airport schedules for more current details. It has been reported that new flights from these specific cities are expected in August.

In the first week of operations after the reopening, Gelendzhik Airport served a total of 2,700 passengers. Out of these, 1,386 passengers arrived at the airport, while 1,367 passengers departed from it during that week.
