One Hospitalized in Wuppertal's Serious Traffic Accident
A serious traffic accident occurred on Wettinerstraße in Wuppertal on the evening of October 4, 2025. The incident involved two vehicles and resulted in one individual being hospitalized.
Emergency services, including the professional fire brigade and volunteer departments from Hahnerberg and Ronsdorf, responded to the scene. They worked together to manage the situation, with hydraulic equipment used to rescue one person from their vehicle. The injured individual was then transported to a nearby hospital after receiving initial medical treatment. The area around Wettinerstraße and Rudolf-Ziersch-Straße was temporarily closed off during the operations.
Fortunately, the second person involved in the accident remained unharmed. The cause of the collision is currently under investigation.
