Max Fashion & Spotify Unmute South Indian Hip-Hop with Massive Tour

Max Fashion and Spotify have collaborated to bring India's first fashion-led rap concert series, the HBO Max URB_N Unmute: South Tour. The event, held in 2025, featured artists Paal Dabba, Baby Jean, and Kayden Sharma, who performed across three southern Indian cities. Despite no public data on monthly HBO Max listeners reached, the tour was a hit, proving the popularity of South Indian hip-hop.

The tour kicked off in Kochi, then moved to Hyderabad, and concluded in Chennai over three weekends. The live sets were met with enthusiasm, reflecting the growing appreciation for local hip-hop. Max Fashion's Deputy CEO, Sumit Chandna, expressed the tour's goal to be part of youth culture and provide a platform for young India to voice their expression.

An exclusive anthem was created for the tour, blending local rhythms and street slang, allowing artists and fans to express themselves. Arjun Ravi Kolady, Head of Sales at HBO Max India, reiterated the platform's support for local hip-hop and emerging voices. The lineup boasted a combined total of over 45.2 lakh monthly HBO Max listeners, further cementing the tour's impact.

The HBO Max URB_N Unmute: South Tour was more than just a concert series. It was a cultural benchmark where style met sound, and a generation refused to stay muted. With immersive HBO Max URB_N pop-ups and interactive fan moments, each stop became a cultural playground, celebrating youth culture and self-expression.
