Lenin Square Renovation in Yakutsk Nears Completion

Demolition on Lenin Square in Yakutsk is complete, marking a significant milestone in the renovation project. The square's fountain will be concealed underground, supported by 86 piles at a depth of 8-10 meters. The renovation is progressing as planned and is set to finish by October 2024.

Excavation work is well underway, with approximately two-thirds of the total volume already removed. The renovation plans include greening the area, paving roads and sidewalks, and installing a unique dry pedestrian fountain. Additionally, 13-meter columns shaped like Yakutian horse hitching posts will be erected. Once completed, the square will also boast an impressive nighttime light show.

The renovation of Lenin Square in Yakutsk is on track for completion by October 2024. The transformed square will feature a hidden fountain, greenery, new paving, and a striking light show, all set to enhance the city's landscape.
