LAG Bad Kissingen e.V. Funds Three Projects in Latest EU LEADER Round
LAG Bad Kissingen e.V., a regional development organization, has been selected as a LEADER region for the new funding period from 2023 to 2027. In this latest round, three projects in the Bad Kissingen district have received substantial funding from the EU LEADER program, managed by LAG Bad Kissingen e.V.
LAG Bad Kissingen e.V., based at Landkreis Bad Kissingen, supports project development, networking, and funding capabilities in the region. Their latest funding round saw the municipality of Oerlenbach awarded €95,117 for the revitalization and promotion of traditional cider making. Meanwhile, Rannungen's project 'Youth meets village' received €73,319 to establish youth management and engage young people in village development.
Additionally, Rannungen was granted €53,188 to renovate its community center, ensuring its sustainability for future use. LAG Bad Kissingen's aim is to promote development potential and strengthen crisis resilience in rural areas, with a goal to develop the region as a health, environmental, and tourism location. Since 2001, LAG Bad Kissingen has successfully realized nearly 100 projects with LEADER funds.
