Khabarovsk's Tourism Festival 2023: Exploring Far East's Wild Wonders
The fourth annual Tourism Festival in Khabarovsk is set to take place from September 19 to 21, 2023. This year's theme, 'Far East - Wild Wonder', promises an exciting exploration of the region's tourism potential.
The event will kick off with a 'Youth Accelerator' business game, encouraging young people to create innovative tourist routes in the Khabarovsk region. Experts will gather to discuss tourism development in the Far East, focusing on attracting visitors from central and western Russia.
The festival will feature a diverse programme, including gastronomic delights, concerts, lectures, film screenings, and exhibitions showcasing local brands. A plenary discussion will involve representatives from various ministries, departments, and international organizations, culminating in a presentation of Fedor Konyukhov's equestrian expedition. The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) is also involved in the conference, coinciding with Konyukhov's expedition.
The Tourism Festival in Khabarovsk is part of the national project 'Tourism and Hospitality', initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin. This year's event aims to highlight the Far East's wild wonders and stimulate tourism growth in the region.
