Khabarovsk Region's 'Clean Water' Project Brings Major Improvements
The Khabarovsk region has completed a significant project to enhance water quality and supply, with a total cost exceeding 2 billion rubles. The 'Clean Water' project has brought substantial benefits to the region's residents.
The project involved the construction of five new water supply facilities across the region. In Bikin alone, two large clean water reservoirs, each with a capacity of 2,000 cubic meters, were installed. This was accompanied by the laying of more than 32 km of new water pipelines, significantly enhancing the town's water infrastructure.
The modernization also included improvements to water filtration and purification systems. A modern automated water treatment station was installed in Bikin, ensuring that the water supplied meets all sanitary norms and standards. Governor Sergey Khotinets played a key role in overseeing these developments.
Thanks to these efforts, around 16,000 Bikin residents now enjoy access to quality communal services. Regionally, 91.6% of Khabarovsk's residents benefit from centralized water supply systems that provide clean drinking water. The 'Clean Water' project has thus made a substantial impact on the lives of many in the Khabarovsk region.
