"The 'Travel without COVID' app will be operational across the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU)," Mussin enthusiastically shared. Several countries have already been integrated into the app, and Kazakhstan will follow suit soon, he assured. With this new app, Kazakhstani citizens can finally travel freely throughout the EAEU, which includes Russia, Belarus, Armenia, and Kyrgyzstan.
However, the issue of venturing abroad remains uncertain. Mussin explained that the international air transport association IATA and the Ministry of Health are still working out the details.
"Regarding foreign countries, the vaccination passport on eGov Mobile is available. If necessary, a physical document can be provided. Ultimately, it's the international air transport association IATA that decides how this will be regulated," Mussin clarified.
