The airline's chief commercial officer, Drew Wells, expressed excitement about bringing Allegiant's travel services to Atlantic City. He stated, "We're thrilled to be expanding our leisure network with these new routes, offering even more opportunities for those seeking sun and sand, as well as for those who want to experience the coastal charm of the Eastern Seaboard or Atlantic City's famed Boardwalk."
The new routes include service to Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Orlando Sanford (SFB), Punta Gorda (PGD), and St. Petersburg/Clearwater (PIE). Most flights will operate twice weekly, with introductory fares starting at $39 one-way. These routes connect Atlantic City to smaller regional airports rather than major hubs, providing affordable travel options for beach and coastal destinations along Florida's Gulf Coast and East Coast.
The exact starting date for the new routes has not been specified yet, but Allegiant Air is set to begin serving Atlantic City International Airport in December 2025. The announcement does not mention any other changes or developments at the airport beyond the addition of Allegiant Air's services.
