The first quarter of 2023, statistically speaking, saw hotels about even with their 2022 counterparts. Overnight stays tallied around 125.6 million, according to the bean-counters. Here's where things get a bit divided: while domestic guests relaxed a smidgen more, up by 0.1% to 104.4 million, international guests scaled back, dropping by 0.7% to 21.2 million.
