Humanity Heroes Set for Busy Holiday Season With 5,000 Packs

Habitat for Humanity Heroes, a non-profit organization, is gearing up for a busy holiday season. Founded by BigMike, the organization aims to support those in need, with a focus on Skid Row residents and beyond.

Every Sunday, volunteers serve over 200 residents in Skid Row, providing essentials and access to crucial services. This tradition will continue, leading up to the Christmas Distribution on December 20th. This year, the event will distribute 5,000 Humanity Packs, filled with essential lifesaving supplies, to spread holiday cheer.

The organization has already made a significant impact. Since its inception, Habitat for Humanity Heroes has distributed over 7,000 Humanity Packs, each serving as a reminder of support. They have also donated over 35,000 PPE kits and acted as a distribution hub for animal supplies during LA County wildfires. Upcoming events include the Thanksgiving Outreach on November 16th, aiming to serve over 1,000 people in Skid Row.

Habitat for Humanity Heroes' reach extends beyond Skid Row. On December 13th, they will visit Athens to distribute 5,000 Humanity Packs. This event, the biggest of the year, involves stuffing the packs with life-saving essentials. Through community partnerships, the organization has reached seniors, at-risk youth, veterans, and even pets.

Habitat for Humanity Heroes, under the leadership of BigMike, continues to empower and support those in need. With upcoming events like the Thanksgiving Outreach and Christmas Distribution, the organization aims to make a significant difference in the lives of many this holiday season.
