Holiday Fun: DIY Christmas Crafts for Kids to Enjoy

Do you still remember the warm, fuzzy sensation when unwrapping those handmade Christmas crafts made by your little self? We have a couple of favorites that still hold a special place in our hearts.
One of my all-time favourites was a tiny Christmas frame created using macaroni. With a self-portrait nestled within, it almost looked too adorable to be real. Who could forget that glint of gold from the spray paint and the curled white ribbon adorning the top?
We also have some grandiose, oversized golden construction paper curls that my mom still keeps (and I seriously can't fathom why they're still intact!). She always hangs them up on the tree, and they never fail to bring a smile to my face.
According to our processed ~~garbage~~ (ahem, memory), it looks like we used white and red thread alongside a few ~~chopped up straws~~ (juxtaposed pieces of straws) to form the string for hanging them. I must have been ~~infantilized~~ (in preschool) at the time!
Back in those days, we didn't have the luxurious convenience of scouring the 'net ~~for~~ (in search of) Christmas craft ideas for kids. Instead, we were bound to the age-old favourites such as clothespinreindeer and Cheerios garlands.
Simpler times, indeed. We found ourselves with endless repetition of the same craft projects, which sure as heck threw us for a loop when the online world started revealing endless craft possibilities!
