Heavy Rain Causes Local Flooding in Krasnodar; Emergency Services Activate

Heavy rain has caused local flooding in Krasnodar, with emergency services on high alert to manage the situation. An emergency brigade is on duty, maintaining pumping stations and deploying equipment across several streets and settlements.

On October 5, Krasnodar experienced heavy rain, leading to local flooding. In response, 33 drainage machines and 15 motor pumps have been deployed to eliminate the flooding. Emergency groups are on high alert, working to manage the situation effectively.

The emergency brigade has set up equipment on Komarov Street, Avtomobilnaya Street, Dezhnev Street, Semenovskaya Street, and Music Settlement. They have also received requests to pump water from Moussorgsky Street, Angarskaya Street, Rakhmáninov Street, Druzhba Street, K. Rossinsky Street/Komandorskaya Street, and K. Rossinsky Street/Baturinskaya Street.

Public transport continues to operate normally, and the situation on the road network is being continuously monitored. Despite the current challenges, the weather in Krasnodar Krai is expected to improve from October 6, with rain stopping and air temperature rising to +28 degrees by mid-week.
