Hallertau Region Gets Digital Boost With New Audio Tours
The Hallertau region is set for a digital boost. The 'Digital Hallertau Experience' LEADER project has been greenlit and awarded funding. Initiated by Landkreis Kelheim, this innovative project aims to enhance and expand the region's appeal for both locals and visitors.
The project, backed by €30,432 from the European LEADER funding program, will create four digital audio tours accessible via smartphone. Two of these tours will be city-focused, guiding visitors through Wolnzach and Mainburg. The other two will be bike tours, allowing enthusiasts to explore the region at their own pace.
These digital experiences will delve into the rich culture, tradition, history, and hop cultivation of the Hallertau. By offering these interactive tours, the project hopes to attract new target groups and invigorate interest in the region.
