Gütersloh Hit by Three Suspicious Clothing Container Fires in One Night

Gütersloh was hit by a series of clothing container blazes on Wednesday night. The incidents occurred at Heinrich-Pütz Street, Am Werl Street, and Kolping Street, with the fire department swiftly extinguishing the flames and police launching investigations.

The first fire was reported at Heinrich-Pütz Street at around 8:42 PM. Just over five hours later, at 11:36 PM, another fire was discovered at Am Werl Street. The final incident occurred at Kolping Street at 12:15 AM, just after midnight.

The police are appealing to the public for any information regarding suspicious individuals or activities in the vicinity of the fires. They are particularly interested in any leads that could help identify the person or persons responsible for these deliberate acts.

The police are treating these fires as arson cases and are urging anyone with information to come forward. The fire department managed to contain and extinguish the fires, preventing any significant spread or damage to nearby properties. The investigations are ongoing, with the police seeking to bring those responsible to justice.
