Graf-Adolf-Straße Redesign Begins October 13, 2025

Graf-Adolf-Straße is set for a major project management starting October 13, 2025. The project aims to address root growth damage from existing trees and improve the street's infrastructure.

The project management will involve felling the current London planes and planting new trees. The city works will also construct canals, roads, and relocate utility lines. To minimise disruption, the road will be closed in sections with detours via Westenfelder Straße, Otto-Brenner-Straße, and Hochstraße / Bochomer Straße.

The project is scheduled to be completed by November 2026. Noise reduction measures include the installation of low-noise asphalt. The start of construction was initially planned for October 6 but has been rescheduled.

The project management of Graf-Adolf-Straße will bring several improvements. Parking spaces will be arranged between tree beds on the northern side, allowing parking on the southern side. Sidewalks will be widened on the north for better accessibility, while the south will see partial narrowing to slow traffic. The project is set to begin on October 13, 2025, and is expected to finish by November 2026.
