Cepee Tabibian, originally from Houston, has turned her dream of living in Spain into a reality. After over a decade of pursuing this goal, she now resides in Málaga, running a thriving business that supports women over 30 in relocating overseas.
Tabibian's journey began at age 21 during a summer trip to Madrid. Captivated by the city's atmosphere, she decided to make Spain her home. Despite setbacks and near misses, she eventually secured a work visa and made the move permanent. She finds her life in Spain to be less stressful and more peaceful compared to her life in the US.
Tabibian launched 'She Hit Refresh', a business supporting women aged over 30 looking to relocate overseas. Focusing on those who may feel isolated and don't have all the answers, her clients mainly ask about cost of living, work visas, and safety. She emphasizes that relocating doesn't require wealth and advises people to 'crunch the numbers' before making their decision.
Now a Spanish citizen with almost-fluent Spanish, Tabibian starts her days by strolling the seaside promenade in Málaga. She misses some aspects of the US but finds her life in Spain to be 'a great life' compared to what it would have been like had she stayed in Texas. Her business, 'She Hit Refresh', is a testament to her own successful relocation and her desire to help others achieve their dreams of living abroad.
