Fredericton's art lovers are in for a treat this Thursday evening as the Downtown Gallery Hop returns from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Organised by the Downtown Fredericton Business Alliance, this quarterly event showcases local art galleries and cultural venues across the city's core.

Kicking off the event, the George Fry Gallery will present an Alumni Show featuring works by graduates of the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design. Meanwhile, Gallery 78 will exhibit two captivating collections: Alexandrya Eaton's 'In the Pink' and Céline Genest's 'Métaphores et mythes'. Additionally, artist Emma Connors will lead an experimental mark-making workshop.

The Artisan District marks its fourth birthday with two stunning fall centrepieces created by Jessie Gagne. For music lovers, Gallery on Queen will provide live entertainment by local musician Chris Giles. The Charlotte Street Arts Centre will display works created during the City of Fredericton and Fredericton Arts Alliance's summer artist residency programs. Visitors can also enjoy a trunk show by ceramicist Shinaid Jane Grace at Beaverbrok Boutique.
