Focus on Automated Logistics Shines at Arvato's Transport Logistic 2025 Event

At this year's Transport Logistic event in Munich, Arvato is set to demonstrate its cutting-edge digital solutions for fulfillment processes, focusing on innovation, efficiency, and specialized industry support.

Arvato's showcase will feature several key highlights, including advancements in automation technology. The company is integrating Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) to streamline pallet transportation in warehouses, aiming to handle up to 20,000 shipments daily on 400 pallets. This innovative approach addresses skilled labor shortages and boosts operational efficiency.

Another highlight is Arvato's customized fulfillment for specialized industries. The company has expanded its logistics services to cater to sectors such as healthcare and technology. For instance, in collaboration with biotech company argenx, Arvato operates healthcare fulfillment centers across Europe, providing precise and flexible supply chain solutions for precision therapies. These centers distribute from local hubs in Spain and Italy to meet the growing demands of the industry.

Arvato's focus areas include deep industry expertise combined with cutting-edge technology to deliver comprehensive supply chain and e-commerce solutions across various sectors. The company also emphasizes safe, secure, and reliable transport and installation services for complex equipment, such as data center logistics for hyperscalers. This focus has been enhanced by the integration of ATC's specialized transport logistics under Arvato’s global portfolio.

Digitalization and IT infrastructure improvements are also a significant focus for Arvato. This is evident in Arvato Systems’ participation at events like the Smart Country Convention, promoting cloud infrastructure, secure data solutions, and modern admin platforms for public sector efficiency.

Arvato is also developing digitally supported processes along the customer journey, including the Customer Experience Cloud (CXC) for efficient after-sales processes. The Harsewinkel location, for example, uses highly automated technology, including a rack-to-person system, autonomous transport solutions, and a shuttle system for multi-client capable warehouse processes.

A recent project includes the implementation of a fulfillment platform for an international provider of fitness wearables within just four months. Arvato is showcasing these digital solutions for fulfillment processes at Transport Logistic 2025 in Hall A3, Stand 321.

In addition to the showcase, Arvato is participating in two expert lectures in the trade fair's supporting program. On Wednesday, June 4, 2025, Arvato CFO Paul Daume will speak about global supply chains under the title: "Between the End of Certainty and the Start of New Challenges." On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 1:30 PM, a lecture titled: "Sustainability - Our Contribution to a Responsible Supply Chain" will be held.
