The Prize
The prize includes a 2-night stay in a suite for two people at the Powerscourt Hotel & Spa, valued at approximately €5,000. The stay is valid for 12 months from 21st July 2025 and includes breakfast, dinner, and afternoon tea.
How to Enter
To enter, tune in to The Best of the Today Show and answer the following question: "Which of these oceans would you find on the west coast of Ireland?" with the correct answer being the Atlantic Ocean.
You can enter by either:
- Calling the competition line at 1517 71 71 44. Please note that calls from eir network cost €2.03, and calls from other networks and mobiles may cost more.
- Texting COMP followed by your answer and name to 57886 (ROI only). Each text entry must include the answer and the name of the entrant, and must contain no more than 160 characters, including spaces. Texting the competition line costs €2.50 (incl VAT).
Competition Rules
- This competition is open only to residents of the Republic of Ireland.
- Employees of RTE, Fonix, and their associated promotional partners, companies or suppliers and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter/win.
- Entrants must be aged 18 years or older as at the date of entry and a resident of the Republic of Ireland to qualify as the prize winner.
- RTE's decision in relation to the selection of the winner is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The competition closes at midday on Monday, 28th of July.
- The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of age and proof of residency.
- The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value if a prize element becomes unavailable.
- The winner will be required to sign documentation as may be requested by the Promoter.
