Decade-long contraction.
On Sunday, 28th September 2025, at 11:00 AM, the Exploratorium Berlin will host a unique event - a moderated children's concert called Schrumpf!, created by musician and mediator Daniella Strasfogel. This event is part of Strasfogel's current tour and will be followed by another concert on 2nd November.
Schrumpf! is an innovative concept that bridges the gap between experimental art and family audiences. Three extraordinary musicians will meet at the Exploratorium Berlin, communicating with each other through their instruments without sheet music. The event promises to be an exploration of unplanned detours, sound detours, and the aroma of tones.
Daniella Strasfogel, the mastermind behind Schrumpf!, has been presenting experimental music and dance theater premieres for a family audience for five years. She is also a founding member of the Solistenensemble Kaleidoskop and founded the label LOUDsoft in the same year. In 2018, she initiated the audience talk series The Artist Talk! at Kaleidoskop.
The participating musician for the Schrumpf! concert on 2nd November is yet to be named. However, among the ensembles for the new Schrumpf! versions in 2025 are Christoph Winkler (Sophiensaele), Luna Park (Uferstudios), and ensemble Zafraan (Dock 11).
The Exploratorium Berlin, a place for musical exploration and discovery, offers a moderated and slightly shortened performance in the afternoon, explicitly aimed at young visitors. Admission to the event is at 10:40 AM.
If you wish to participate in a lottery for the Schrumpf! event, you must submit your form by 22nd September 2025 at 10:00 AM. To stay informed about giveaways, current topics, events, and concerts, subscribe to our website's fresh newsletter.
Further dates for Schrumpf! events will be announced on the website. The event takes place at the Exploratorium Berlin, located at Zossener Straße 24, 10961 Berlin-Kreuzberg.
Schrumpf!, funded by the Senatsverwaltung für Kultur und Gesellschaftlichen Zusammenhalt, is filling a much-needed gap in the cultural offer for families, inspiring both adults and children with its experimental art. Don't miss this opportunity to experience something truly unique!
