Celebrate Ukraine: Evening of Culture, Music, and Solidarity

On February 24, the Evangelical Church in Upper Wiehltal will host a special event to mark the anniversary of Russia's attack on Ukraine. The evening, titled 'Ukraine Evening', will be held at the Evangelical Community Center in Reichshof-Wildbergerhütte and will feature a presentation by Ukrainian figure skater Yuliia Danilova.

The event is part of a series of meetings organised by the Women's Gathering of the Evangelical Church in Upper Wiehltal over the past year to support and raise awareness of Ukraine. The evening will begin at 5 PM and will include a slide presentation by Yuliia Danilova, who originates from Ukraine herself. The presentation will showcase the beauty, diversity, richness, and unique aspects of Ukraine, as well as its history.

In addition to the presentation, the event will also feature prayers for peace, Ukrainian snacks to sample, and live guitar music and Ukrainian songs to enjoy. The church hopes that the event will provide an opportunity for the local community to come together, learn more about Ukraine, and show their support for the Ukrainian people.

The 'Ukraine Evening' will take place on February 24 at the Evangelical Community Center at Bärenhardt 4, 51580 Reichshof-Wildbergerhütte. The event is open to all and promises to be an informative and engaging way to mark the anniversary of Russia's attack on Ukraine. The church welcomes everyone to attend and join in the celebration of Ukraine's culture and heritage.
