Calves on the Run - Calves Escape in Waltersdorf: Police and Owners Chase and Recapture Them
Five calves escaped in Waltersdorf, Dahme-Spreewald district, on Thursday morning, leading to a chase involving two police officers. The officers attempted to recapture the animals and eventually succeeded with the help of the owners.
The escaped calves initially outsmarted the two police officers, evading them during the chase. The officers then contacted the owners for assistance. Together, they managed to herd the remaining calves onto a bike path and load them into a vehicle. The owners' last known location before the escape was Schönefeld, but no recent information was available at the time of the incident.
The police officers' quick thinking and collaboration with the owners resulted in the successful recapture of the escaped calves. The animals were safely returned, and no further incidents were reported.
