Budget airline Air Arabia slashes fares for flights to Oman and India, under Dh255, in anticipation of the upcoming UAE long weekend.
As schools reopen and the post-travel blues set in, some UAE residents are looking for a quick getaway during the upcoming long weekend. Air Arabia, a popular low-cost carrier in the region, has announced a limited-time sale to cater to this demand.
The special offer includes one-way fares starting from Dh149 for various destinations. The booking window for these fares is between August 28 and September 5, 2025. Travellers are urged to book quickly as the fares are subject to availability.
The destinations included in the offer are Muscat, Dammam, Riyadh, Kuwait, Salalah in the GCC, India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. For instance, one-way economy fares for specific routes include Abu Dhabi to Muscat (Dh149), Sharjah to Dammam (Dh199), Sharjah to Muscat (Dh199), Abu Dhabi to Salalah (Dh249), Abu Dhabi to Kochi (Dh255), and RAK to Kozhikode (Dh255). Salalah, Oman is one of the hottest destinations at the moment due to the Khareef season. This promotion could provide an opportunity for UAE residents to experience the beautiful landscapes and refreshing weather that Salalah offers during this time.
Air Arabia is also making it easier for local travelers to book flights using AE Coin, a stablecoin backed by the UAE Dirham. This digital currency will facilitate payments for flights, upgrades, and onboard purchases as part of the UAE’s digital innovation strategy starting in 2025.
With travel demand generally lower this time of year, this could be the perfect opportunity for UAE residents to plan a quick getaway and explore new destinations at affordable prices.
