The charming town of Ayora in Valencia province is set to host the XIV edition of the Primer Corte de la Miel, a vibrant celebration of local beekeeping and the magic of honey. From October 8 to 12, thousands of visitors will flock to Ayora to kickstart the region's autumn festivities.

The celebration, led by the local beekeeping association, offers a delightful array of activities. Visitors can enjoy guided tours of historic landmarks, lively street performances, and enchanting concerts and folk dances. At the heart of the celebration is the live honey-cutting demonstration, where skilled beekeepers offer freshly cut honey straight from the comb. This unique experience allows visitors to taste Ayora's honey in its purest form. Additionally, there are family-friendly workshops and tastings of honey, olive oil, and craft beers brewed with honey. The celebration also provides an opportunity to sample and purchase regional delicacies such as cured meats, cheeses, pastries, wines, and traditional dishes like gazpacho ayorino.

Ayora, a major hub for honey production and distribution in Europe, positions itself as the ultimate destination to discover the magic of honey. The Primer Corte de la Miel celebration is a testament to Ayora's commitment to celebrating its rich beekeeping heritage and offering visitors a unique and unforgettable experience.
