Antarctica Welcomes Enlarged Kayaking and Camping Venture by HX Expeditions
In an exciting development for adventure seekers, HX Expeditions has announced significant enhancements to its camping and kayaking program for the 2025/2026 Antarctica season. The new offerings aim to provide a more flexible, accessible, and environmentally friendly experience for guests.

These inflatable kayaks are custom-designed and priced at EUR 129 per person, suitable for up to 60 guests. - **Sea Explorer Kayaks**, hard shell, tandem kayaks for longer-range and more technical paddling in dynamic Antarctic waters. These are guided by two expedition experts and priced at EUR 199 per person, with a capacity of 23 guests.
The program also includes expanded solo traveler options, allowing guests to kayak or camp without a partner. New "Bivvy Bag" camping setups, sourced from Scandinavia, offer premium camping gear. Pricing for solo-style setups is EUR 350 per person, and EUR 429 for two-person tents.
A variety of additional activities have been added to complement kayaking and camping, including snowshoeing, polar plunges, and extended hikes. The booking system has also been revised, with all kayaking and camping reservations handled onboard by the expedition team on a first-come, first-served basis.
