Alaska Airlines to Merge HawaiianMiles, Ending Certain Redemption Options

Alaska Airlines has announced changes to its Atmos Rewards program, with the full integration of HawaiianMiles set for October 1, 2025. The transition will bring an end to certain redemption options and partnerships.

Key changes include the closure of the HawaiianMiles to Marriott Bonvoy points conversion on August 20, 2025. After this date, members will no longer be able to transfer HawaiianMiles to Marriott Bonvoy points at a 3:1 ratio, with a 5,000 bonus miles for every 60,000 points transferred. Additionally, the transfer of Hawaiian Airlines miles to Alaska Airlines miles will cease once the programs merge.

To prepare for the integration, members are advised to link their HawaiianMiles account to the Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan. This will allow continued transfer of Marriott Bonvoy points to Mileage Plan miles even after the HawaiianMiles program is fully absorbed.

The complete integration of HawaiianMiles into the Alaska Airlines Atmos Rewards program is scheduled for October 1, 2025. Members are encouraged to review and adjust their redemption strategies before August 20, 2025, to take advantage of the current conversion options before they expire.
